The Can't See News

The show with moools was great. They had a good tour and are now back home. We'll miss them. Here's a picture of Thomas with moools drummer Uchi and roadie Joe Plummer. The Can't See has a song on an Aviation Records compilation CD that is to be released in a couple weeks. There is a series of shows to support it, one of which is listed on our shows page.

As summer 2007 draws to an end, The Can't See comes out of hiding. It's been a while since we've ventured outside as a band, but we've all kept busy otherwise. John sailed around the world in a hot air balloon that he made out of old tires, Thomas joined the circus and was nearly mauled by a saber tooth giraffe, and Ken learned Italian and had a kid. And on top of all that, we've still been able to work on some new material that we hope to record soon. We'll be trying some of that new material out when we play our first show of the fall at Chop Suey at the end of the month with our super rad friends from Japan moools. That's moools with 3 o's and no "the". The Can't See can't wait to see you then.

The Can't See will be playing at the Crocodile on Friday but if you just can't wait to see Thomas perform, you can check him out as a guest Archives guitarist on Wednesday at Neumo's.

Since we've been getting requests here and there for Coma Comma No More and you can't really get it anywhere outside of Tokyo, The Can't See has posted the entire Coma Comma No More album here on the The Can't See website. All the vinyl has sold out, and we don't have any current plans to repress. We hope you enjoy it if you haven't heard it yet. And if you have heard it, we hope you enjoy having your own digital copy now to enjoy at your leisure. And if you already have a copy, then sorry you aren't really gaining anything here, but if it makes you feel better... we are writing some new songs and you can most likely expect another The Can't See album some time next year.
